WHO ARE WE?
The Morgan Hill Federation of Teachers is made up of certificated employees in the Morgan Hill Unified School District.
What do we do?
MHFT aims to: promote mutual assistance and cooperation among educational workers; to obtain all of the rights to which they are entitled in a free society, including the right to collective bargain and to strike; to improve standards and working conditions essential to the best performance of professional service; to encourage hiring and retention; to promote the welfare of all children by providing progressively better educational opportunities, regardless of race, color, creed, sex, gender, sexual orientation, ability level, and social, economic, or immigration status; and to support and promote the ideals of democracy to improve the educational climate.
Membership through SBLC, CFT, & AFT
MHFT is represented by the South Bay Labor Council, the California Federation of Teachers, and the American Federation of Teachers, and therefore members are able to access relevant resources and benefits through these organizations.
